I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis. I work in the field of numerical analysis; I am particularly interested in numerical methods for integral equations, analysis-based fast algorithms, and numerical linear algebra.
Previously, I was a Gibbs Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Yale University. I completed my PhD in Mathematics in the Numerical Analysis Group at the University of Oxford, where I was a Clarendon Scholar and my advisor was Lloyd N. Trefethen. I also received a BS in Mathematics summa cum laude from Virginia Tech.
